Ashtanga Yoga

Pattabhi Jois. It is the eight limbs in the Yoga Sutra outlined by Patanjali that comprises of postures, concentration, meditation, and ethical & moral guidance. Started by five repetitions of Surya Namaskar A and B respectively and followed by a standing sequence, the practice of Ashtanga forced to grow and focused. Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word that means "Variations within prescribed parameters". This style of yoga is a breath initiated process. This yoga style helps in synchronizing the bond between our daily life actions with the intent of moving towards the important aspects of life. Vinyasa or Flow yoga comprises of various identical postures, the order of which often changes. This yoga type is having a flowing rhythm at a quick pace that links our breath with the movements. 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course Syllabus

  1. Ashtanga yoga primary series sequence made by K. pattabhi jois, In 200 hours yoga TTC we teach our students basics of Ashtanga yoga and we guide them through the completely Ashtanga yoga series in a systematically way according to the ashtanga yoga tradition which includes-

  3. On 2 nd week - Standing sequence postures & use of yoga props.
  4. On 3 rd week - Seated sequence postures & Finishing sequence postures.
  5. On 4 th week - Mysore style & Teaching practice.

In 200 hours TTC Ashtanga primary series will be practiced thoroughly and In 4rth week students will be examined in their Mysore style practice if they have learnt to practice Ashtanga vinyasa traditionally without being guided / in Mysore style.

Ashtanga Yoga

300 Hours Yoga Teacher Training Course by Vinyasa Yoga Ashram includes learning & practicing Ashtanga Intermediate and advanced series. The first 15 days of the course includes detailed learning & practicing of Ashtanga Intermediate Series followed by a 15 days classes of advanced Ashtanga Series. Focus on the backend asanas, the intermediate Ashtanga Series is known as Nadi Shodhana or Nerve Cleansing. This series opens the energy channels that allow a free flow of Prana. While the advanced level of Ashtanga Series requires an optimum level of flexibility, endurance, and humility. The switching to the advanced series only allows after successfully practicing primary and intermediate series.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Our 300 Hours Yoga TTC in Rishikesh includes the advanced Vinyasa Flow. This advanced- level series can be used to keep the body warm and to build strength through the class. A complete advanced level series of Vinyasa flow can take around 3 to 4 hours depending on the person's energy and strength level. Vinyasa advanced level series link one asana to another in a continuous movement. This advanced-level series is a continuous sequence of Plank, Chaturanga, Upward-Facing Dog, Downward Dog poses.

500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (Recommended Books)

Note: All classes are mandatory only in case of an emergency or illness one can take leave with respected teacher permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted and this will leave bad impression on student monthly performance.


Prerequisites - A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. The practice and especially the teaching of yoga demand a high degree of self-discipline and purity. To ensure the success of the program, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures and asana classes. Meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, drugs and nudity are prohibited during the course as they are counterproductive to the yoga practice. Participants who do not comply with the school rules may be dismissed from the course.

Discipline Rules for Students - Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school. If you are having a fast any day, you have to inform kitchen manager for avoiding food waste. Always make discipline, respect teachers and follow all rules. Always be in the time, you are late means will not be permitted to join class. Clear your books of account before departure from Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. Before departure return your books, maps or any goods which you borrowed. Vinyasa Yoga Ashram provides accommodation for a student who join the yoga course. So any friends or relatives will not be included in accommodation however they can stay in school by renting another room. Student have to be present in all scheduled program of Vinyasa Yoga Ashram.

Refund Policy – An advance of a course fees will not be refundable, only in the case of emergency students can join us on other schedules. If student cancel the course after joining it, we accept cancellation but course fees will not be refund in cancellation. There is no charge of course cancellation.
