A 200 hour yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh, India is a foundational program designed to either start your Yoga Journey or to deepen your understanding of yoga and develop your skills as a yoga teacher. Vinyasa Yoga Ashram offers a 24 days course that will uncover the knowledge of range of topics, including yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, asana practice, pranayama, meditation, and teaching methodology. You will be immersed in a supportive and nurturing environment where you will have the opportunity to explore and become more aware of your own thoughts, body and breath. You will study the history and philosophy of yoga, learn about the different types of yoga, and develop a deep understanding of the principles and techniques of yoga practice.

You will also learn about the breath and how it relates to movement, as well as different techniques for meditation and relaxation. Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to practice teaching and receive feedback from experienced teachers, which will help you develop your own teaching style and refine your skills. Post completion of your 24 day long journey, you will be evaluated based on the asana class that you give to your fellow students and rewarded with the certification of Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hours by Yoga Alliance

Aerial Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh

Aerial yoga teacher training is a unique and exciting program that combines traditional yoga with the use of a hammock or aerial silk. The program is designed to teach you how to incorporate the aerial hammock safely and effectively into your yoga practice and how to teach aerial yoga classes to others. The aerial hammock provides a supportive and dynamic tool that can deepen your yoga practice and add a new level of challenge and excitement to your classes. During the training, you will learn how to use the hammock to support and deepen traditional yoga poses, as well as how to create new and innovative sequences that can only be achieved with the aerial hammock.

In addition to the physical practice, you will also learn about the benefits and contraindications of aerial yoga, as well as the principles and techniques of teaching an aerial yoga class. You will study the anatomy and physiology of the body in relation to aerial yoga, including how to use the hammock to stretch and strengthen different areas of the body safely and effectively. Throughout the training, you will have the opportunity to practice teaching and receive feedback from experienced aerial yoga teachers. This will help you develop your own teaching style and refine your skills as an aerial yoga teacher. Upon completion of the training, you will be qualified to teach aerial yoga and will receive a certification approving you to start teaching in any class.   • In 200 Hour Intensive Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India. We teach our students basics of Ashtanga yoga and we systematically guide them through the complete Ashtanga yoga primary series sequence created by K. Pattabhi Jois in a traditional way which includes-

    • Week 1 - Introduction to Ashtanga yoga (Primary series) followed by Sun salutation A & B.
    • Week 2 - Standing sequence postures & use of yoga props.
    • Week 3 - Seated sequence postures & Finishing sequence postures.
    • Week 4 - Mysore style & Teaching practice.

    After practicing for the first 3 weeks based on the teacher’s guidance, the students will be tested in the 4th week in their Mysore style practice which is without guidance. Students will also be asked to guide some of the postures in the last week as a teaching practice.

Note: All classes are mandatory only in case of an emergency or illness one can take leave with respected teacher permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted and this will leave bad impression on student monthly performance.

NOTE: There will be Two Excursions per month in the course and we would take you any of the places mentioned above.


Prerequisites

A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. The practice and especially the teaching of yoga demand a high degree of self-discipline and purity. To ensure the success of the program, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures and asana classes.

Meat, fish, eggs, alcohol, tobacco, drugs and nudity are prohibited during the course as they are counterproductive to the yoga practice. Participants who do not comply with the school rules may be dismissed from the course.


Rules for Students

Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school. If you are having a fast any day, you have to inform the kitchen manager for avoiding food waste. Always make discipline, respect teachers and follow all rules. Always be on the time, you are late means will not be permitted to join the class.

Clear your books of account before departure from Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. Before departure return your books, maps or any goods which you borrowed. Vinyasa Yoga Ashram provides accommodation for a student who joins the yoga course. So any friends or relatives will not be included in accommodation however they can stay in school by renting another room. The student has to be present in all scheduled program of Vinyasa Yoga Ashram.


Refund Policy

An advance of course fees will not be refundable, only in the case of emergency students can join us on other schedules.

If a student cancels the course after joining it, we accept cancellation but course fees will not be refunded in cancellation. There is no charge of course cancellation.
