Keeping in mind the need and convenience of the students, we "Vinyasa Yoga Ashram" offer Online & Offline 100 Hour - 14 Days Yoga Teacher Training Course (Pre-TTC) which is actually the first section of 200 Hours - 28 Days Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh. This short-term course is conducted every month of the year and is designed for all those people who are keen to learn yoga & wants to become a certified yoga teacher but don't have ample time to complete 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh. Whether you want to give your yoga practice a startup, move towards personal & spiritual development or wants to rejuvenate & refresh your soul, then this 100 Hours Yoga TTC is for you.

This will heal your body and mind with the systematic knowledge and understanding of yoga. The prime objective of the course is to nourish & nurture the parasympathetic nervous system and rebalancing the energy and the chakras.

After the completion of the first half of the 200 Hour YTTC (i.e., 100 Hours YTTC), students have to complete other 100 Hour Yoga course within the time period of 1 year whenever you are free to visit again at, "Vinyasa Yoga Ashram". The two semesters (of 100 Hours each) will be deemed to be complete after the successful completion of assignments and exams.

Ashtanga Yoga

Comes with the benefits of the enhancement of flexibility & strength, stress management techniques, and attainment of inner calmness, Ashtanga Yoga is the yoga style of exercise created by K. Pattabhi Jois.

It is the eight limbs in the Yoga Sutra outlined by Patanjali that comprises of postures, concentration, meditation, and ethical & moral guidance.

Started by five repetitions of Surya Namaskar A and B respectively and followed by a standing sequence, the practice of Ashtanga forced to grow and focused. By moving your body powerfully and quickly during Ashtanga will also help in the purification of mind and body.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word that means "Variations within prescribed parameters". This style of yoga is a breath initiated process. This yoga style helps in synchronizing the bond between our daily life actions with the intent of moving towards the important aspects of life.

Vinyasa or Flow Yoga comprises of various identical postures, the order of which often changes.

This yoga type is having a flowing rhythm at a quick pace that links our breath with the movements. The two classes of Vinyasa cannot be alike. Vinyasa flow helps in preventing repetitive injuries and helps in building a more balanced body.

    With the sound of the morning bell at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram, make yourself ready to start a yoga practice with full energy and enthusiasm.

  • 06:00 - 07:00 Am Shatkarma & Pranayama

    With the 6 cleansing techniques of Shatkarma to filter your organs and the practice of Pranayama to control your breath, start your yoga practice.

  • 07:00 - 08:30 Am Vinyasa flow Yoga

    Among the contemporary styles of yoga; Vinyasa Flow Yoga helps you to switch from one asana to another with ease, using breath.

  • 08:30 - 09:30 Am Breakfast

    After the morning session, it's time to satiate your hunger with healthy, hygienic, and organic food, directly from the kitchen of Vinyasa Yoga Ashram.

  • 09:30 - 10:30 Am Yoga Philosophy

    One of the important terms of yoga, beyond asanas, is Yoga Philosophy where you will unveil the theory behind your practice and understand it well.

  • 10:45 - 11:45 Am Yoga Anatomy

    With the class of yoga anatomy, you will become aware of the muscles and parts of the human body with their origin, main functions, and actions.

  • 12:00 - 01:00 Pm Alingment- Adjustment- Methodology

    The next class after the break is Alignment, Adjustment, and Methodology where you will understand to perform asanas with the right technique.

  • 01:00 - 02:00 Pm Lunch

    Now, after the practical class of Yoga, take some and sattvic food in your lunch, prepared by keeping in mind the utmost hygiene and well-being.

  • 04:00 - 5:30 Pm Ashtanga Yoga

    With Ashtanga Yoga class, the next step in your yoga practice is to learn to maintain balance, focus, and coordination while performing any asanas.

  • 06:00 - 7:00 Pm Meditation & Mantra chanting

    A class should end with remembering God and so the last class of the day is of Meditation and Mantra Chanting to satiate your soul and mind.

  • 07:10 - 08:00 pm Dinner

    After the end of the class, you now need the energy to relax your body and food to satiate your hunger. At 7:10 PM, you all are welcome at the dining area.

  • 10:00 pm Lights off

    Day completes with lots of practice, teaching, and memories. After thanking God for such a beautiful day, take rest and sleep well for completing next day tasks.

NOTE: You will be participating in the same group of 200hr ttc students.

Note: All classes are mandatory only in case of an emergency or illness one can take leave with respected teacher permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted and this will leave bad impression on student monthly performance.

Prerequisites

A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. The practice and especially the teaching of yoga demand a high degree of self-discipline and purity. To ensure the success of the program, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures and asana classes.

Meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, drugs and nudity are prohibited during the course as they are counterproductive to the yoga practice. Participants who do not comply with the school rules may be dismissed from the course.


Rules for Students

Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school. If you are having a fast any day, you have to inform the kitchen manager for avoiding food waste. Always make discipline, respect teachers and follow all rules. Always be on the time, you are late means will not be permitted to join the class.

Clear your books of account before departure from Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. Before departure return your books, maps or any goods which you borrowed. Vinyasa Yoga Ashram provides accommodation for a student who joins the yoga course. So any friends or relatives will not be included in accommodation however they can stay in school by renting another room. The student has to be present in all scheduled program of Vinyasa Yoga Ashram.


Refund Policy

An advance of course fees will not be refundable, only in the case of emergency students can join us on other schedules.

If a student cancels the course after joining it, we accept cancellation but course fees will not be refunded in cancellation. There is no charge of course cancellation.
