Vinyasa Yoga Ashram is situated at peaceful place and surrounded by lush green mountains and fields. Keeping in mind our rooms are designed according to yoga teacher training course. Our rooms are spacious and ventilated. Our management is always your service to keep your rooms clean and hygienic.

Whatever we eat can effect our mental and physical body. Eating balanced and notorious food is very important for yogis . Yogic Diet is based on natural healing, rejuvenating and energizing elements from the revered science of Ayurveda. It is a perfect food for nourishing the mind, body and souls of budding yogis. So Vinyasa Yoga Ashram provides you yogic food which helps you physically in increasing your flexibility and stamina, mentally it helps you in being aware about your thoughts and breath. We are very adamant about bringing nutritious, vegan and gluten free food for our students.

Yogic diet and its Importance

Yoga is always one of the most preferred ways to achieve physical wellness along with the calmness of mind, body, and soul. Yoga opens the gateway for a healthy and happy life. Apart from selecting the best yoga school, qualified yoga teachers, and inartificial yogic location, one of the major factors that affect the learning of yoga is the yoga diet. A proper healthy diet of yoga is necessary to energize the body for the heavy yogic workouts. Bending, twisting, stretching, and movements during our asana require a lot of energy. Based on the elements of natural healing, energy, and rejuvenating, a yoga diet helps in refreshing and nourishing body, mind, and soul.

Making of a yogic diet

While preparing a yogic diet, the following factors must be considered by Vinyasa Yoga Ashram:-

Ingredients - All the food ingredients including vegetables, spices, fruits, and nuts must be pure and fresh.

Preparation Process - All the food items are prepared onsite and in a germ-free clean environment. To avoid water-borne diseases, we always check the quality of water.

Food Making Ideas - All the food making ideas in our school is in accordance with the Ayurvedic and yogic diet plan. Apart from considering the Yogic factors, the taste of the yogic diet must be delicious so that a person can eat the food with happiness.

Serving - Our school serves food as done by the traditional yoga ashrams that include remembering and thanking the supreme power of the world.

Food Facilities of Vinyasa Yoga Ashram

Our yoga school not only focuses on the optimum learning of yoga but also providing the students with the perfect yoga diet that help the person to learn yoga in its factual state. Yoga food provided by our yoga school keeps our students energizes for the heavy yogic workout. All the food we served is from fresh vegetables, spices, and nuts and is prepared onsite to serve hot and fresh food. We only offer a vegan and sattvic diet as per the concepts of Ayurveda. We create a balance between the mind, body, and soul of the upcoming yogis by synchronizing our food time table as per the need of yogis. The following secrets of our yogic diets are:-

Alkaline start - Lemon water served to the empty stomach yogis alkaline and detoxifies the acids and toxins that get generated in our body overnight. A cup of coffee, lemon tea, or green tea wakes up all the organs to make yourself ready for the yogic workout.

Sattvic diet - A sattvic diet served by our yoga school leads to the clarity of the mind, thoughts, and physical health of the body. This diet is eco-friendly, alkaline, and very light. Fresh fruits, nuts, vegetables, grains, etc are the part of Sattvic diet. We believe that a yogi must follow only the Sattvic diet plan.

Plant-based diet - Heat destroys the enzymes, fiber, and nutrients contents of the food to an extent. As per our belief, raw food provides minerals and vitamins in the most virgin form. The enzymes play a crucial role in fighting from disease and making our digestive system strong. Herbs like coriander, turmeric, cardamom, ginger, and pepper are detoxifying, anti-microbial, and anti-inflammatory in nature which helps in lowering down of stress and stimulate the functions of thyroids.

Good fats Coconut oil, soaked nuts/seeds, and ghee are important aspects of the yogic diet that makes our food digestible, and appetizing. It also helps in improving memory, healing mind, and neural conductivity.
