Code of Conduct

Rules and Regulations of Ashram
Prerequisites :

A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. The practice and especially the teaching of yoga demand a high degree of self-discipline and purity. To ensure the success of the program, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures and asana classes.

Meat, fish, eggs, alcohol, tobacco, drugs and nudity are prohibited during the course as they are counterproductive to the yoga practice. Participants who do not comply with the school rules may be dismissed from the course.

Rules for Students :

Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school. If you are having a fast any day, you have to inform the kitchen manager for avoiding food waste. Always make discipline, respect teachers and follow all rules. Always be on the time, you are late means will not be permitted to join the class.

Clear your books of account before departure from Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. Before departure return your books, maps or any goods which you borrowed. Vinyasa Yoga Ashram provides accommodation for a student who joins the yoga course. So any friends or relatives will not be included in accommodation however they can stay in school by renting another room. The student has to be present in all scheduled program of Vinyasa Yoga Ashram.

Refund Policy :

An advance of course fees will not be refundable, only in the case of emergency students can join us on other schedules. If a student cancels the course after joining it, we accept cancellation but course fees will not be refunded in cancellation. There is no charge of course cancellation.

300h Yoga Teacher Training India by Vinyasa Yoga Ashram includes learning & practising Ashtanga Intermediate and advanced series. The first 15 days of the course includes detailed learning & practising of the Ashtanga Intermediate Series followed by 15 days of classes of advanced Ashtanga Series.

Focus on the backend asanas, the intermediate Ashtanga Series is known as Nadi Shodhana or Nerve Cleansing. This series opens the energy channels that allow a free flow of Prana. While the advanced level of the Ashtanga Series requires an optimum level of flexibility, endurance, and humility. The switching to the advanced series only allows after successfully practising primary and intermediate series.

300 Hour Yoga TTC in Rishikesh by Vinyasa Yoga Ashram includes the advanced Vinyasa Flow. This advanced-level series can be used to keep the body warm and to build strength through the class.

A complete advanced level series of Vinyasa flow can take around 3 to 4 hours depending on the person's energy and strength level.

Vinyasa advanced level series link one asana to another in a continuous movement. This advanced-level series is a continuous sequence of Plank, Chaturanga, Upward-Facing Dog, Downward Dog poses.

This course is very intense and will not be suitable for a pregnant woman. However, pregnant women can attend the pre and post natal Yoga TTC course to help them in the journey of pre and post pregnancy.

This will help you to globally validate your certification and thereby help in your Yogic career.
As this is an Advanced Yoga Teacher Training India, the student has to be at least 200 hour Yoga TTC certified and has to have good knowledge of Yoga. Considering this course is for students who are very serious about Yoga practice, we expect them to have a strong foundational knowledge that will help them to dive deeper into the course.
The syllabus covers all the main subjects like multi-style asana that include Ashtanga yoga asana: Primary and Intermediate series, Vinyasa yoga asana derived from Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, theory sessions explored into next level like understanding the strengthening, and stretching techniques in Anatomy and Alignment, detailed information of Yog sutras in philosophy, learning the art to teach in teaching method and advanced meditation and pranayama lessons. Vinyasa Yoga Ashram has some of the most experienced and well trained teachers who will ensure that all your queries are answered. Also, the yogic environment in the ashram helps the students to start their disciplinary life which is then not so difficult to continue even after the course.
Your day as a 300 hour student will start at 6 in the morning and will have intense back to back sessions till 7 pm with few breaks in between the classes for food, rest and study. The student has to be ready to teach pranayama, meditation and asana class at the end of the course
Comfortable loose clothes are preferred while performing asana.
