Breathing is the first act of living and the last; yet very few take the time during their lifetime to learn the art of breathing well. Each breath effects our nervous system, our posture, our emotions, digestion, our sleep, concentration, movement and our overall state of well-being. Nutritious Food for Yogi

A sattvik– pure– state of mind is achieved when one consumes high pranic value foods that energise and nourish the body at various levels. Yoga isn’t just asanas and breathwork, but rather a complete integration of one's routine that supports spiritual evolution where diet plays a big role in one's progress. The meals provided at school are thoughtful and rooted in the science of Ayurveda and Sattvik eating habits.

  • Three vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free meals daily, with multiple options to choose from.
  • Light, easily digestible foods are prioritised to help sustain your asana practices.
  • A balanced diet with lean proteins, complex carbs, and good fats in every meal to fulfil all nutritional needs.
  • An appropriate mix of warm, cooked dishes and raw, lively foods.
  • Spices infused drinks such as fennel seeds, carom seeds, coriander seeds, ginger to boost digestion and metabolism.
  • A variety of cuisines to stimulate multiple tastes.

Focusing both on nutritional as well as pranic value, every dish is cooked fresh and organically, and is served with the intention of nourishing not just the body, but also the soul. With a beautiful mix of taste and health, every bite will leave you satiated (perhaps even wanting a little more!).
